Why Eagle Nest properties call a local electrician

At elevation, Eagle Nest sees cold winters, heavy snow on service lines, and lightning in the summer. Space heaters, heat tape, and well pumps work hard here, and many older homes were wired long before those loads existed.

Electric service in Colfax County is typically provided by your local utility or rural electric cooperative. For work on the service entrance or meter, we arrange the disconnect and reconnect with them so you do not have to.
