Why Timberon properties call a local electrician

Timberon has long, hot summers and mild winters, so cooling equipment does most of the electrical work. Panels in direct sun run hot, exposed conduit and cable degrade, and afternoon thunderstorms in monsoon season deliver frequent surges.

Most properties in Otero County get their electricity from PNM or Otero County Electric Cooperative. If your project touches the meter or main service, we handle the scheduling with the utility.

Our smart home wiring covers all of Timberon, along with neighboring High Rolls Mountain Park, La Luz, Sunspot, and Alamogordo.

Smart Home Wiring FAQs for Timberon

Do smart switches work without a neutral wire?

Some models do, with limits. The most reliable fix is to add a neutral to the switch box, which we can do.

Can you install devices I already bought?

Yes. We install customer-supplied smart devices and help with the initial setup.

Do I need a hub?

It depends on the products. Many work over Wi-Fi alone; larger systems are more reliable with a hub. We can advise based on what you want to control.

Which areas around Timberon do you cover for smart home wiring?

All of Timberon and the surrounding Otero County communities, including High Rolls Mountain Park, La Luz, and Sunspot.
