Why Cerrillos properties call a local electrician
Cerrillos is in New Mexico's high country. Long heating seasons, snow, and winter storms put steady demand on electrical systems and make outages more than an inconvenience. Older adobe and territorial-style buildings in Santa Fe County often hide several generations of wiring behind thick walls.
Electric service in Santa Fe County is typically provided by PNM or a rural electric cooperative. For work on the service entrance or meter, we arrange the disconnect and reconnect with them so you do not have to.
Our smart home wiring covers all of Cerrillos, along with neighboring Lamy, Santo Domingo Pueblo, Pena Blanca, and Cochiti Lake.

Smart Home Wiring FAQs for Cerrillos
Do smart switches work without a neutral wire?
Some models do, with limits. The most reliable fix is to add a neutral to the switch box, which we can do.
Can you install devices I already bought?
Yes. We install customer-supplied smart devices and help with the initial setup.
Do I need a hub?
It depends on the products. Many work over Wi-Fi alone; larger systems are more reliable with a hub. We can advise based on what you want to control.
Which areas around Cerrillos do you cover for smart home wiring?
All of Cerrillos and the surrounding Santa Fe County communities, including Lamy, Santo Domingo Pueblo, and Pena Blanca.
