Local knowledge for Pinos Altos, Grant County

In southern New Mexico's desert, Pinos Altos summers push air conditioning, coolers, and well pumps hard for months at a time, and monsoon storms bring lightning and short outages. Heat is tough on breakers, and the sun is tough on anything installed outside.

Depending on your address, power in Grant County typically comes from PNM or a rural electric cooperative. When a job involves the meter or the service connection, we coordinate the shutoff and reconnection with the utility.
