Local knowledge for Mountainair, Torrance County
Mountainair sits in the high desert of central New Mexico, where strong sun, wide swings between day and night temperatures, and summer monsoon lightning are hard on wiring, breakers, and outdoor equipment. Many homes here cool with evaporative coolers or have converted to refrigerated air on panels that were never sized for it.
Most properties in Torrance County get their electricity from Central New Mexico Electric Cooperative. If your project touches the meter or main service, we handle the scheduling with the utility.
We provide new construction wiring throughout Mountainair and in nearby Willard, Torreon, Estancia, and McIntosh.
